QCVN 05A: 2020/BCT - Major changes related to the storage and transportation of dangerous chemicals and effective date

On January 21, 2021, the Minister of Industry and Trade signed Decision No. 193/QD-BCT correcting technical regulations issued according to a number of previous circulars, including National Technical Regulation QCVN 05 :2020/BCT
National technical regulation QCVN 05A:2020/BCT was promulgated for the first time on December 21, 2020 together with Circular No. 48/2020/TT-BCT with the initial regulation number QCVN 05:2020/BCT. on safety standards in the production, trading, use, storage and transportation of dangerous chemicals.
On January 21, 2021, the Minister of Industry and Trade signed Decision No. 193/QD-BCT correcting technical regulations issued according to a number of previous circulars, including National Technical Regulation QCVN 05 :2020/BCT. Corrections include:
- Change the original regulation number QCVN 05:2020/BCT to QCVN 05A:2020/BCT
- Change the effective date from 01/07/2021 to 01/01/2022.
Regarding the content, compared with the previous regulations, QCVN 05A:2020/BCT has some key changes related to the storage and transportation of dangerous chemicals listed in the following table:

The HSE department of MVG Dinh Vu Co., Ltd. has examined and researched the regulations and standards given by the authorities and made necessary adjustments in order to ensure that the operation process as well as equipment & infrastructure of MVG chemical warehouse always meets safety standards, securing the receipt and storage of dangerous chemical goods from customers.
