Date 19-08-2021 Views 469

In the process of unloading DG goods at MVG Dinh Vu warehouse, safety is always a top priority, especially for highly dangerous items such as chemicals. With the goal of ensuring the smooth unloading process of imported goods, MVG Dinh Vu's operation team always adheres to the safety procedures developed by the HSE department and approved by the Board of Directors.

The safety process when receiving DG goods at MVG Dinh Vu warehouse is divided into the following main stages:

1. After completing the paperwork at the office, the driver will control the vehicle into the warehouse area, reverse the rear of the vehicle (trailer tail if it is a container trailer) into the direction of the cargo loading gate, stop about 2~3 meters from the lifting bridge.

2. Warehouse workers will check the sealing condition to make sure it matches the documents, then open the trunk/container door to vent for about 15 minutes. The fans equipped on both sides of the door will be used to increase the air circulation into the trunk/container, increasing the speed and quality of the ventilation stage.

3. After venting, MVG Dinh Vu's HSE personnel will check the safety conditions in the trunk/container. If there is no problem, the container/container is considered safe enough to be unloaded.

4. Goods will be unloaded by forklift and brought to the staging area. MVG's personnel checks the status of packages, ensuring that the goods are received correctly in terms of type & quantity, and the condition of goods is eligible for warehousing.

After the unloading and inspection is completed, the goods will be returned to the storage location.

With the application of the above safety inspection procedures, MVG Dinh Vu always maintains stability in operation, worthy of customers' trust and choice as a safe storage place for dangerous chemical cargoes, contributing to stabilizing the supply chain at the current time.
