Firefighting and Rescue Drill at MVG Dinh Vu Chemical Warehouse

On November 21st, 2020 - MVG Dinh Vu Co.,Ltd together with Hai Phong Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police Department have arranged the Traning Program of Fire Prevention, Fighting Protocols and Fire-fighting & Rescue Drill sessions for MVG's employees.

With the goal to ensure the fucntion of Fire Prevention -Fighting & Rescue at MVG Chemical Warehouse No.1, as well as contribute to the growing of knowledge and skill for MVG employees regarding Fire Prevention -Fighting & Rescue protocols, on the 21st of November 2020, MVG Dinh Vu Co.,Ltd together with Hai Phong Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police Department (HP-FPFR-PD) have arranged the Traning Program of Fire Prevention, Fighting Protocols and Fire-fighting & Rescue Drill sessions for MVG's employees. The training workshop and drill session were held at the MVG Chemical Warehose No.1

The Drill session assuming that there is a fire inside of the cargo storing area during working time. Right after the fire has been discovered, along with vocal arlam from warehouse worker, the automatic fire-detecting system were also activated to send out distress arlam. MVG's employees were quickly deployed to react following the preset fire-fighting protocols.

MVG Rescue team was well equiped with both safety gear and knowledges on fire-fighting and rescue protocols.

Local fire-fighter made of MVG's employees quickly used fire-fighting equipment at hand like water hoses, powder extinguishers.... to approachs and created a blockade to stop the fire from spreading, find and rescue any victim found while local FPFR-PD force rushs to the scene. On the other hand, warehouse workers quickly secure the nearby cargoes to safety.

After the drill session ended, MVG BoD, HSSE team and FPFR-PD leaders had a quick meeting to learn from the experience. According to the police officer in charge, the training workshop and drill session went well, the technical systems of MVG Chemical Warehose No.1 works perfectly, especially, the on-site forces have performed their role well, worked smoothly with the FPFR-PD in handling situations. However, this is only a drill and will be very different from the real situation. Therefore, the Board of Directors and the HSSE department should continue to propagate deeply to increase awareness and responsibility for fire prevention as well as provide focused training in necessary skills such as rescue and escape ... for each employee of MVG.

Good implementation of fire safety at MVG Chemical Warehouse No. 1 is to ensure absolute safety for and property of customers, investors and contribute to maintaining the security of the area. This is also a very important reason for the MVG Chemical Warehouse No.1 is always a safe place to store chemicals for customers.
